82 - SBC
He is definitely worth the 40k he costs as his pace mixed with his close control dribbling made him a formidable solo-runner.
I recommend switching formation to a 4411 and playing him at CF as he can pass, dribble and shoot.
The only problem I have with this card is that he is not great on set pieces with his 62 FK Acc., 68 strength and only being 5'9".

So I bring on Lingard as a super sub in around the 60th minute each game. I play in divisions. I started using him a a lcm in a 4312 but found that he wasn't really getting involved as most of the cms I use in this formation so I took him out of the squad and began using him as a sub. I bring him on as either the cam or striker and I can honestly say that after 15 games as a sub, he has 12 goals and 4 assists for me. That is unbelievable considering he only play 20-30 minutes a game. He is only a couple goals off of Hazard and 87 Son, who I use as my strikers, and I couldn't be more happy. Maybe it is just the fact that he comes on late, but he feels much quicker than the 86 pace listed. That mixed with his great dribbling allows him to easily run past players and I wouldn't consider myself a very good finisher but with Lingard, I rarely miss chances. He can even shoot effectively from outside the 18, creating a monstrous goal threat. If you missed out on his SBC, I have played against his IF a couple times and he still does damage to me. A must use card in my opinion
Pace: feels much quicker than card stats suggest
Dribbling: feels very agile on the ball
Shooting: surprisingly good finisher and hits long shots easily
Stamina: 88
Composer: only 80 although I have not really noticed it
Height: 5 foot 8
What a classy player -- if you didn't snag his SBC, you missed out heavily. His performance transcends that of a typical 82-rated player. He is deadly from long range and can finish anywhere. His dribbling feels more like a 90.
-Finishing
-Pace (not needed at CAM but still nice)
-Agility
-Stamina
-Passing can be subpar
-Occasionally misses from close range
This guy is so much better than 82, the algoritm doesn´t really reflect the meta on this card and with a Hawk chemistry card you get an mental player for almost nothing. He is better than higher rated CAM´s like IF Sigursson or Eriksen. What i like about this card is that he has both the Physich and Speed which you normally lag in most CAM´s for when you have to play comboes with your attackers. At the same time you have the needed dribling and passing to use him as a typical CAM.
His high speed and his run in depth.
His long shot is mental.
His relatively low hight.
I used Lingard in a 4321-formation along with Can and Locadia IF. As you probably understand from the title, he was extremely disappointing. The problem with Lingard was that he seemed to small to push defenders off the ball and at the same time struggled to run past bigger players. He didn't have the shot I hoped for, he didn't seem to be able to finish easy 1v1 versus the goalkeeper and he wasn't able to assist other players around him to make up for not scoring enough.
Long shots sometimes
Maybe passing? I didn't really notice tbh wyd Lingard?
Wyd Lingard?
Lingard wyd?
